About Us

Clive Wilson. Co-founder & Managing Director

I come from a business and marketing background, with a long-standing interest in photography, architectural structure, and design. While I’m not a designer by training, I’ve always been drawn to how objects, spaces, light, and images shape the way we live and interact with our surroundings.

My first window into capturing moments, emotions, and stories came through photography, including time spent as a member of the Royal Photographic Society. Over the years, that appreciation has continued to evolve, influenced by friends and family who are accomplished artists, and by a growing curiosity about how creative work can exist beyond traditional formats.

Zanoogo grew from a desire to bring together unique art, thoughtful design, and quality craftsmanship in a way that feels accessible, genuinely personal, and grounded in everyday life. Not as something distant or exclusive, but as part of how we furnish our homes, dress ourselves, and live with the things we choose.

At its heart, Zanoogo sits at the intersection of creative instinct and practical execution, where ideas are shaped into thoughtful, well-made products for everyday life.

Art is deeply personal to each of us.

It represents freedom and expression. It stirs our emotions much like music or a cherished memory does, and that’s why people confidently recommend a painting, a song, or even a wine, because they want others to feel what they feel.

There is no shortage of beautiful art in the world, just as there are many beautifully crafted products. What is rare is a way to bring the two together so that art becomes more than something to look at.

And for the many talented artists whose remarkable work remains unseen or under-appreciated, there is a real opportunity to do more.

Imagine their art, not just hanging on a wall, but perhaps as a luxurious silk scarf, a handcrafted leather bag, or a beautifully made chair that invites touch and interaction.

Zanoogo is about more than creating art-printed products. It is about giving artists new ways to share their work and reach people beyond traditional gallery walls.

And for the many talented artists whose remarkable work remains unseen or under-appreciated, there is a real opportunity to do more.

Imagine their art, not just hanging on a wall, but enjoyed as part of everyday life, perhaps as a luxurious silk scarf, a handcrafted leather bag, or a beautifully made chair that invites touch and interaction.

Alongside our current selection of hand-painted pieces and photography, the platform is designed to grow into a curated space for other artists, particularly UK-based creatives, who want their work to exist in the world rather than sit unseen.

Why it matters.

Art isn’t just something to admire from a distance, it is something to connect with and experience in a way that feels personal and instinctive.

Its value is not only in the final piece, but in the thought, skill, and human expression behind it. Zanoogo exists because that belief shapes everything we do.

We believe that art is meant to be lived with – woven into the fabric of everyday life – touched, worn, and felt.
